GoFarmer is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and your details are stored in compliance with this Statute

Site Visits:

Whenever you request a page through your browser, navigation and click stream data such as:

your IP address,

browser and version,

operating system,

date and time and

the site from which you came

are stored in a log file and/or database. This information cannot be used to identify specific individuals, and is only used for:

Website and system administration,

research and development,

anonymous user analysis, and

to provide accurate statistics to advertisers in the form of aggregated data.

This information is kept on a secure server and may be kept on servers within the Gofarmer offices.

The email addresses collected by Gofarmer are not sold, or disclosed to any third parties. These addresses will only be used by our business to send out Gofarmer communications (for example, a Gofarmer newsletter or to let you know about special offers or deals we have negotiated) and to send third party advertisements we deem may be of interest to you. We reserve the right to send you certain communications in relation to Gofarmer, such as service announcements, administrative messages and special announcements. You can opt out of third party advertisement emails in your members area under 'My account', but as a member of Gofarmer you agree to always accept the newsletter sent out regularly to members which may contain third party advertisements as well as special offers and benefits of membership. If you do not agree to receive this newsletter please do not join Gofarmer.

Please note that as part of the service to Buyers your contact details will be available for them to see if you are a registered Seller. On registering you are asked for various details such as name, address, telephone number and email address. These are automatically displayed to Buyers when they click for more details of your products. Buyers may use these details to contact you in relation to your product.

Gofarmer will not rent, sell or share your personal information but your information is provided to other users of the site in connection with selling and buying products and we reserve the right to send third party advertisements to you unless you opt out of receiving these.

You can edit your contact details at any time by logging into your account and editing your details as instructed. Please ensure your details, especially your email address, are kept up to date at ALL times, or you may find your Gofarmer membership revoked.

When a contest/sweepstakes/survey is run on this site you may be asked to supply some personally identifying information like your name, email address and/or phone number. This information will only be used to notify winners of the contest/sweepstakes. Non-identifying information may be analysed, aggregated and presented to third-parties to provide an overview of the demographics of our Network´s visitors.

When a survey appears on the Gofarmer Network, information is collected, compiled and analysed on an aggregated basis. Gofarmer may share this aggregated data with advertisers or business partners.

Cookies are a technology which can be used to provide you with tailored information from a Website. A cookie is an element of data that a Website can send to your browser, and which your browser may then store on your system. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie. If you purchase products directly from Gofarmer, your contact information and a transaction history will be kept by Gofarmer.

Children under the age of 16 should not register for these services. Please have a parent or guardian register as a member first and then this parent or guardian should supervise the use of the Gofarmer services by anyone under 16.

Any data collected will be used by ourselves and our agents. Gofarmer hereby reserves the right to transfer any data collected in the event of an acquisition, full or partial, of the company or its assets. You will be notified of any acquisition first.

We will share your information with the relevant authorities if we belive it is necessary to do so in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding any illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violation of Gofarmer's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

You can delete your membership at any point by cancelling your Worldpay Agreement and your Gofarmer membership will also be cancelled and all your products removed from the site if you are a Seller.

We may update this privay policy at any time. We will notify you about any significant changes in the way we treat your personal information by sending an email to the email address you have registered with us or by placing a prominent notice in the main members area.
